    -No license required for the sale of ammo in Arizona or 43 other states...
    -No requirement to even have an ID to purchase ammo
    -No law, state or federal as regards to the amount of ammunition that you can have on your person.

    While it was legal for him to have the ammo and I agree it was nefarious in nature........There was nothing wrong with him having that amount of ammunition.

    Were all eft wondering why he was charged or what he was charged with....

    As I said before it’s not the fact that the driver was in possession of the ammunition-it was the WAY he was transporting it. Ammunition is supposed to be locked up in a case and put in a manner that it can’t be accessed while being transported. It must be out of reach. Even Arizona has rules about that.
    12-781 - Transportation or storage of firearms; motor vehicles; applicability
    The article stated that the vehicle transporting the ammunition was pulled over for multiple violations-so the driver did something to get Arizona DPS’ undivided attention-and it snowballed from there!
