Flatbed is easy
Tractor falls off trailer. No problem next time use more chains.
Drywall falls off ,next time use more straps.
Tarps blow off use more bungees.
Being a milk hauler though I think we all know what happens if we spill it. -

Here's the thing, when you graduate from school with your CDL, you MIGHT have a whopping total of 10 hours behind the wheel. Basically you will have a total of one good day driving a big rig in LIMITED and generally controlled situations.
Trucking companies recognize the limitations of new CDL graduates, or they SHOULD. That's why they have training programs. Welcome the chance to continue to practice and improve with a trainer in the truck with you.
I was a trainer for a year. It's grueling work. A good trainer has to love teaching. Many trainers are in it for the extra money.
No matter what you think of your trainer, soak up every bit of knowledge they can teach you. They have been in the game far longer than you have. -
One hopes they have been at this longer than 6 months.Lepton1 Thanks this.
