I have a flutter on my 1Lw, just got done replacing everything on the fuel delivery system and I mean everything.
all new fittings bored to 13/32 and polished and reusable aeroquip hose ends
tank draw tube, hose to primary 1/2 ID, hi flow primary base, new style transfer pump, AN #8 hose to the new secondary base which was bored to 13/32 and the filter intake expanded to about 4 times the factory size, and all new valves in there too, then to the back of head with AN #8 hose, then return from the front of the head with AN#6 to a new fuel cooler in front of the radiator to the ECM and back to the tank.
I'm waiting for a new set of injectors I order last week and hopefully that will take care of the flutter, but it's been a long and expensive task.
I have a digital gauge in the dash to monitor fuel pressure too.k108 cat power Thanks this. -

Wonder if maybe it could be a bad wire harness? I just throw that out there. Really don't know but I know it sucks tossing money at gremlins.
Ed Patrick Thanks this. -
my flutter is gone with the new injectors, I'm very happy, gained lots of power too, and there's got to be more mpg , cause this thing just goes with no effort, I won't know about fuel mileage for a few months since I'm working locally, only put between 4 and 30 miles a day but in a few months I'll find out and will report.
Good luck to you guys I hate flutters.k108 cat power and 062 Thank this. -
As well upgrade the -6 steel fuel line from transfer pump to secondary fuel filter to -8 hose and fittings as well?
So with increased internal line diameter and internal diameter of fittings, the transfer pump would need be shimmed as well?
