How's it going folks? Anyone know the weight difference between the 62" and 72" sleeper? Also, does anyone have the folding bottom bunk on the 62" or 72" flat? Am used to the stationary bunk, but the folding bottom bunk would be a plus.
Also, what's the shortest wheelbase for 72" sleeper for both the B or L? I'm thinking 244" ( I like the Canadian setup so long as it has the Canadian spread axles).
Looking to purchase another KW within the next few months. Trying to nail down everything I want. I'm either going 2000 and prior or 2018 and newer with factory warranty.
As always, thanks for your input.

You don't want the folding couch bed, I have one in my 97 and it sucks.Vampire Thanks this.

Thanks. You think it would be better reupholstered with memory foam?
-
Not sure how you would go about doing that. I was just going put some aluminum or plywood over the framework and throw a regular truck mattress on it, when I get sick of #####ing about it.Vampire Thanks this.

Personally, I am a big fan of the 20 dollar air mattress that they sell at Wal Mart and Academy and the like for camping. Adjustable firmness.Vampire Thanks this.

They are bad for sure. Especially if you are 1 of 2 and stuck in the split. Memory foam & plywood would make it much better but then what’s the point of having it?Vampire Thanks this.

Thanks guys. Anyone know how much of a difference in weight the 62 and 72 are?

Canadian spread axles??????

Known as the Canadian Spread. The spacing between each axle is greater than the standard axle spacing. It makes for better stability and a better ride. Makes maintenance a little easier as well.
AModelCat Thanks this.
