Do you mean isx, or the new X15? Both are 15L, but if you are wanting the same era as the 6NZ, it will be the ISX. I have a friend who just bought a 2019 Pete with the X15 and he loves it. Already has 50k on it no issues. And not even broke in it’s getting 5.7 pulling oversized ag equipment. I think it has better lugging power than the older Cummins, but nothing you will find in a cat. The 6NZ is the bridge between the legendary 3406 block, and the C15 acert. So it’s kind of the end to a tried and true block. Personally, I don’t like all the emissions. The more sensors, the more chances of failure. I’ve always been a Cummins supporter, but between the two you are deciding, 6NZ takes the stand on my behalf
wore out, DarkhorseEnterprises, Blkcowboy and 4 others Thank this. -

The x15 seems promising for a emission motor, but a yellow motor will get my vote everytime as long as it isn’t a acert.
Blkcowboy Thanks this. -
And I’ve had exceptional Acerts. The only issues I have had with em is injector cups start putting fuel in the coolant around 750,000.

To each their own though!
