#7 cam bearing puller

    First of all I owe this to BoxCarKidd on this forum who shared his idea with me. It took some cutting and grinding. Can be made with or without welding. I used it on a cummins n14. Photos attached.

    A one time Cummins would come out and do work for others. Cut counter bores, replace cam bearings and or sleeve the block for a spun bearing. That type of help is long gone.
    I just try to figure out how to do what i can. Glad that worked out for you.

    Nut spot welded on is a good improvement.

    It was the only way really. One hand operation on an international 9400

    any homemade bearing installers ? Rebuilding my ntc444, new cam. Old cam lost a lobe

    I went with the lisle 18000. There are several brands that sell something similar

    I could send you a picture at work for a sb chevy. It was turned on a lathe about 35 years ago. That worked fine but the ones that expand with rubber inside the bushing are easier on the bushing. The home made deal just took a little time with emery cloth by hand.
