I know it has been asked before but I don't have time to search for it. I started driving last Tuesday. When will I gain my hours back? Monday at midnight or Tuesday at midnight?

want to know an easy way to never run out of hours... log 9 hrs driving or combo on duty...it works seriously. cause everytime you recap the previous 7 days you will always have 9 hrs... now that not counting if you have shorter or longer hours or use that elog crap

your hour will reset after the day of work, in this case 12am tuesday. But the 9 hour thing does work too, but alot of driversdo more than that

EZ method, add up your total hours on line 3 & 4 for 8 days. That is the 8 day total.

Then do the same back 7 days, this is the 7 day total.

Subtract that number from 80 and see if you have any hours left...

I know this is the "new driver" section, but seriously, didn't you understand the log book section of class? How can someone possibly get a CDL these days and not understand the log book rules on recapping? It really is simple addition and subtraction.

    I was also wondering...

Lucray, when you say you are driving, do you mean driving a truck?

    Are you with a trainer?
