You never qualify for a rest.yes you may have 34 or more off, but one you use that you have to have a full 7 days or 168 hours before you can use it again.

If your reset starts at 7:30pm Friday you can not take another reset till next Friday at 7:30pm. H any time after the 168 has pasted. You can do a reset, say Sat or Sun but then that moves the reset start time forward to match the start of the reset.

So 4 on 2 Off will never reset.

I live in the central time zone.

My company is in the eastern time zone. So, my logs are all on the eastern zone.

If I am in LA, I log on the eastern zone even though I am in west coast zone.

If you're not smart enough to use a pen and paper and have an understanding of some basic rules you don't belong behind the wheel.

Thank you for that explanation. I was all riled up for no reason, it appears.

That's simple. I already know that all log book recording has to be done with the time it is at your home terminal. I have a clock on my dash set for Central Time for that reason.

As long as you are done by 12:59 am Saturday morning you will have 2 of them. One on Saturday morning and the other on Sunday.
