Does Texas maybe have specific HOS rules for the oil fields like California does for ag haulers?
hardworkinman Thanks this. -
The fed dot does have oil field specific regs you if I rember correctly earn a reset after 24 hours pending you operate a oil/ specialized cmv , but read the regs for sure , learn to check the regs and don't operate on hear say , it won't work when the drunk hits ya to say "they" said this or that , read the regs follow them and you will be fine , as far as I rember oil field also has a provision for logging off duty when waiting for load ect so you would be " legally " preserving your 60/70 hour clocks ect.read the regs. They are in the green safety book that should be in your truck anyway , pick one up at most truck stops , my.02¢
