i'm actually suprised another co. gave you a shot after being canned by swift. maybe the TA didnt bother looking at your DAC? who knows, and who cares. you got a 2nd chance.....dont blow it.

Hate to burst your bubble...Swift was self insured back when they were governed at 57...and it had nothing to do with insurance. It was after the Feds lifted the 55 rules (all states...before your time)...Jerry needed a way to thumb his nose at them for the 55 rule...(he was originally a triple digit balls to the wall small outfit with Swift Meats contract and 35 trucks)...he refused to raise his limited trucks as I said just to thumb his nose at the authorities. He was forced to either bring up the speeds or lose his authority by Arizona...he brought it to the below speed limit range of the two lane highways...as he lost his battle due to the AZ Prosecutor proved, or convinced the judge that the 57 was unsafe with other cars and trucks doing 65, along with creating a road hazard and "road rage" that will cause even bigger problems.
