Testing the @ symbol since I've never used it in 500 plus posts and didn't know that.

IDK why they fired me, I dont care much but I know they did not call me about the problem but being fired for going 72 mph is nuts idk who you are. Im not going to burn up my brakes to alway stay at 62 down every hill. sorry that not how I drive.

you do realize that any company you try to get hired with will see this on your report, right? you likely just cost yourself a career. i sure hope no other trucking company hires you. posts like yours make me wish there was a minimum intelligence requirement to get a cdl.

    NukedNative and KingTrucker86 Thank this.

you're paid to drive the way swift (or any company) wants you to drive. Unless you got your own truck that you can drive anyway you want. If i give you a car to deliver pizza, and tell you i'm going to pay you to deliver pizza, but you cant go 55, or take only right hand turns, or deliver only deliver when the last digit of the time of day is an odd number, then thats what you do.

Swift states that 72 is flagrant in a company truck, you agreed to it when you signed to be a driver. you didnt comply, you cost yourself the job. dont blame swift. you dont want to drive that way....and thats why you dont have a job anymore.

It is amazing how many drivers love to criticize. And some of you Super Truckers have never drove past 72? Give a new driver a chance! My feelings about Swift as a company are also not so good, but not all of the drivers are bad. Just a larger percentage.
