You’re talking about the up ahead menu. Right? Not the search for truck stops.

Ya up ahead menu, I usually don’t search for truck stop, but when I do I use trucker path.

also the main thing I would like is truck stop preference. Because multiple truck stops at the same location I see Loves being displayed all the time.

That truck stop search. Or even parking search. They’ve helped me to extend my driving time to the last few minutes. I’ll look at that 4 to 6 hours out on clock. Work with it to make sure I make it.
I’m not big on stopping on an exit or on ramp.
I wish they’d cut out the irrelevant places.
I also am using Hammer more. It’s as good as Trucker Path.

Last time I came here. Lost. Road closed off. Creating an industrial complex. Came in another way. Past a big security house.
This time the 800 came up with the right way. Hammer did also. Admit I didn’t have it on my 770. Should have.

Yes. I’m liking it overall. Some nice things about it.
I’m also liking it with my 770 also.
I just downloaded trucker path again. Too many problems with hammer. I still like it. Today I seriously needed more input. I think trucker path might have helped. Google maps and Apple Maps were awful. Google would identify this company in multiple places with that address. But it’s not there. I finally gave up. Called my office. Had to find out from customer. I didn’t even have a number for them. I don’t even know why they named this little stretch of street what they did. Stupid. It was in Miami. A headache. Multiple headaches.
I like as much input as I can get. Because everything is goofy. I can decide for myself. So I’m liking my 800

I bought a 800. Had it 3 weeks. Did not like it. I sent my 780 to Garmin as it had died. They sent ne reman at no charge. Now works perfectly. I sold the 800. The worst thing about Garmins is when you come out of a truck stop and say want head East. It wants you to go west for a mile and make a u turn. Like any gps one must use common sense.

Sorry if it's an old bump but I wanted to add my experience with Garmin OTR. Bought the 800 OTR about 6 weeks ago and have been using/testing it. I have to say one of the nicest features is how it Bluetooth interfaces with my phone through the dezl app. This gives me live weather and traffic updates. Traffic updates come through Google maps. So it will show roads on the Garmin like Google maps when traffic is flowing, slowing, or stopped (ie red/yellow/green).

Helped out a lot the other day. Coming south on NJ turnpike and it showed me a delay 30 miles ahead on RT 1 in DE. Was able to cut through new castle and have no delay whatsoever. You can also send locations from your phone to the GPS instead of entering them on the GPS. All around it's been pretty convenient and I check the GPS routes with other directions before i even start.

    Siinman Thanks this.
