Schneider did not request the changing the parameters for the logs that has happened to everybody that is under Qualcomm... the FMCSA instructed Qualcomm to change those parameters recently

Then why did it not affect all qualcomm users why is there no info on either FMCSA or Omnitracs website about mandates change and finally why did my ICA tell me face to face it was requested by SNI.

Some people just can't face the truth. If SNI says it, it's gospel.

question, your friends unit flips to driving on the current minute after x distance like ours used to? or is it in fact reverting back to time of movement like ours now does after x distance.

There are some things Schneider can change and some things they can't. Schneider can change the driving threshold, how changing that impacts the pullback to wheels start moving I dont know.

I don't know the full extent of what is 'chooseable' by the customer. QHOS may be more accommodating to large companies or just to those willing to pay for customized software. Until one of us sits in the meetings and reads all the emails we'll never truly know what's possible.

Sni tells Qualcomm what they want and when they want it. Of course it has to be within the parameters of the fmcsa. But to think something as simple as deleting the 8/2 split from the device is not possible is naive. It goes like this.
Sni- Please delete the 8/2 split from all of our devices.
    Qualcomm-Why?
Sni-Because if you don't we will give people net our 25000 units worth of business.
Qualcomm- Done. Anything else we can help you with today?
    See. Pretty simple.

    mindes and TennMan Thank this.
