Sounds like a game plan on to me. Running like that is definetly still legal and is doable as long as your appointment times allow it. Just have to have 30 min break which would be covered during your 45 min lunch breakFuffster Thanks this.

You need a mathematician riding with you to keep track of the numbers. I predict in two or three years they will throw another curve ball for us, just when we will get used to the current rules.

I don't anymore if it really is about safety. Or if they just need more money from the fines. I remember Ohio used to love taking our money. that's why they never raised the speed limit.

Driver must remember the 2 hours must be consecutive in the off duty line or sleeper, or combined. And have hours left from the the previous 14 hours to get them hours back###

This sounds like something just begging for a smartphone app. Just input the time you go on duty and it will calculate the times necessary to qualify for the 8-2 split.

When i go on break for 2+ hrs it always tells me 8/2 split blah blah blah but i nvr know wut to do later... so i just take a 10. Where r u getting 6hrs dt from?
