8 day 70 hour rule?

    Thanks: I guess I was confusing the 14 hour rule and the 70 hour driving. But the 14 hour rule prevents you from doing much if you are already driving 11 hours in a day that only leaves 3 more hours for any breaks, meals, etc. Personally on long haul I tried to drive close to 10 hours a day for 4 to 5 days. That usually got me to the receiver or shipper and then the wait time allowed me to log very few hours for one full day. Then I was back to the 10 hours for the return.

    Those 2hr breaks also are the point at which your 14/11 clocks would start once you take 8 hours continuously in the sleeper.
