Can you log from noon to noon on a single sheet legally? I've never thought about that. That would make it so much easier and simpler in my case.

I can`t claim exempt and the 100 air mile radius and use the 8 days a month going past the 100 miles unless i return the SAME day back where i started
if i stay out i am eligible for a ticket and lose my exempt status
thats is,if I get caught -
1. 100 air mile radius
2 12 hours on duty/driving
3. start/stop at the same location.
On the days you breach the 100 air mile radius you of course have to paper log. Same on days you overnight on the road. Otherwise all other days you can still claim the exemption.
For example Mon you drive 600 miles out, deliver and stay at a truck stop. Tues you come back to the yard. Wednesday - Friday you never leave the 100 mile radius, start/stop each day at the yard, and don't work more then 12 hours a day. Sat-Sun off
Monday and Tuesday will need a (paper) log file, Wednesday to Sunday will not.
As you will not have had more then 8 in 30 on paper, you don't need an ELD.
Unless I misread what you said... -
