I have heard of people getting 8mpg consistently and sometimes high as 9.5
I know that there are many many many variables but what would be a good engine to start with...something newer with dpf...
I heard that the dd15 is a great place to start...from there you go air tabs filters mufflers lrr tires etc...not to mention that an ecm flash...
It would be nice to see what you drive along with your mpg info and what mods done to achieve this

Haaaa....along with having the right mudflaps, you gotta make sure you have the right type of headlight fluid and check it often...haaa

U also need to shave ur armpits it helps for aerodynamics.

It starts with the newer trucks, properly spec'd. After that its more about driver technique.

According to my Freightshaker sales guy the new Evolution should be squarely in the 9's with a DD15 and Diamler's new inhouse autoshift and 80,000 gross. BUT, he IS a sales guy!!!
