Just curious, how do you log 1647 miles in less than 48 hours?

Technically, you'd have 28 hours of drive time. That would be 58mph not counting loading and fuel.

In my younger days, I had a dream that I drove from Lakeland FL to Amarillo Texas in 23.5 Hrs. Averaging 64.55 MPH.

a rhetorical question. all of us that can, already do. always in a safe and little to no traffic situation naturally.then there are the times that those that can HAVE TO in order to get out of and away from the very unsafe cluster of traffic impeder trucks.we then drop it back to our normal operating speed which eclipses the cluster causing truck traffic thereby keeping us removed from said traffic.

it is a natural stress reducer and should be practiced on a daily basis whether by choice or necessity.

most likely utilizing loose leaf logs. late 80's/early 90's,i would run ga to california, make multiple produce pickups, and make it back to ga every week,by myself.yeah i am too old for that now not to mention i don't care to run in that manner.not sure if loose leaf were available back then but i used log books.

    i know.the times have changed-

1647 miles at 75mph would take 21.96 hours to drive. So it is logable at two 11 hour drives. Although you better have some #### good reciepts to match those logs, And those reciepts match down to the minute on the logs and they dont excede the limit in any one section. Becouse you know if you do get stoped and looked over they are going to want recipts for this. And I am pretty sure you would mess up somwhere, so I dont think it would be a good idea to log this.

Easily. Pretrip at midnight, start driving at 1215 AM, drive all morning, including a fuel stop and short break, stop at noon and go in the sleeper, there's 715 miles. 65 MPH logging speed

wake up at 10PM, do pretrip, start driving at 1015 PM, drive all night till 1015AM, including a fuel stop and short break, go into the sleeper at 1015AM another 715 miles. 65 MPH logging speed.

Get up at 815PM, pre trip till 830, drive till midnight, 227 miles. 65 MPH logging speed.

Total miles 1657, averaging 65 MPH, with a little time to spare. Of course this is assuming perfect scenario, no traffic, a truck that can actually do the speed limit, western states, no breakdowns, inspections, or traffic back-ups.

But yes kids it can be done. With or without receipts.
