81 COE Freightliner w/cummins help

the gears my truck came out with was 4:33. just right for the days of the double nickle. the ratios i have in them now are 3:70s This should give me a little better hiway mpg which always was a problem with that truck. anyhow sounds like you got some good information to make a decicion now. let me know if I can help.

 

I too have a 1981 Freightliner cabover. I am trying to rebuild from the ground up. So far I have most of the exterior complete; at least for now. I am having problems finding interior trim parts and accesories IE dash panel and headliner. I want to make it look brand new. Does anyone on here have any ideas where I can find these parts or maybe ideas on how to re-fabricate them?
