JUST TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF MECH THAT SET VALVES AND GOING TO PULL COVERS TONIGHT ALSO HAD SUGESTION THAT COMPRESSOR CRANK BROKE WILL TURN PUMP OVER BUT NOT ENOUGH WHEN IT HAS TO BUILD PREASURE IN YOUR EXPERANCE IS THIS POSSABLE ???/

I'd isolate the engine from the truck from a fuel standpoint. Connect a funnel & hose to the fuel pump inlet hold it higher than the engine to gravity feed it. Also set up can be all wrong if the accessory drive isn't it time. The pulley should have a 1-6 tc mark on it. Will be between the c & a mark on the pulley. If you remove #1 injector you can verify #1 tdc matches the pulley. Top stop injectors set at zero lash 6 INCH lbs. Valves at .011 & .023 using the inner base adjustment procedure. If it has Jakes be sure they aren't set too tight. Back off the adjusters to be sure.

Some, maybe all pt fuel pumps have a 1/4 pipe plug on the top near the tach drive that can be removed to fill/ prime the pump. I have never needed to do this unless something has a vacume leak but it might be worth a try. Be sure to use clean fuel before you are bypassing the filter.
