Smaller fuel company. Not doing transport loads. Just wet service, you go fuel smaller fleets with your truck that don't have on site fuel.

    Shipping container driver

Delivery driver for a company like toro driving flat bed with a forklift and dropping off lawn mowers or shingles or something along those lines.

Driving a pump truck pumping oil at garages and places that sell oil.

    Driving a yard dog somewhere.

Just go talk to people and see where it takes you. Good jobs are rarely on Craigslist.

Same here with my job. The hardest part is stretching a 6 hour day into an 8 hour day. That takes a bit of talent.

    Well done!

Yeah people still coming on saying it's like chasing a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow even after multiple people said they have an approximate work situation. One even listed some major companies that have 40 hours as their policy.

As I said No Offence intended... A person doing a good job does not stand out but, the person doing a bad job you notice. Just my opinion.

These jobs exist, they're just not heavily advertised. You need to knock on doors.

One other thing to keep in mind. If you have a lot of experience and a perfect record, it sets you apart and makes you highly desirable to employers. Sometimes they are willing to adapt the job to you. It doesn't hurt to ask.

You can go be a cement Mixer driver. you will be sent home when the contractors finish pouring and not a moment before.

Sometimes in really bad summer heat you work at night, sleeping by day on the sand pile at the ready mix waiting for the sun to set before getting to work.

You will work 60 plus hours and like it. What with the hourly overtime past 40....

Ive done so much with the little class B trucks in my time that will never happen while OTR... and vice versa. ive been happy with my work with the class B even if my bosses were not always pleased. I have a life time standing order if I ever go back to Maryland, I report to one particular farm where a superliner mack dump is waiting for me to take out to fuel and get blacktop to start paving.... I can do that as soon I get there if I want to. Licenses, dot medical etc all be ######. None of that is necessary there. I just might....

Speaking as one who lives here, you may be happier in Arkansas.
