totally get it on the complaining versus advocating for myself. I’ve changed my tone. I’ve not complained. I have learned to speak up when needed but I do it with almost a humorous kind of tone and approach to it. I found it in the trucking industry you get a lot farther this way. Lol I’ll crack a few jokes say something like “come on” lol
It just gets you further in this business as I’ve learned. Also, i’ve also learned to save the squeakiness for when it’s really needed and not for every little thing.
I agree $100 is low, but they are paying it to me, so I can’t complain. I knew that’s what it was when I signed up to work at this company.

You're right about that. In every part of life, I've had to learn the same thing. It's so much better to converse than it is to confront. Big ups to you hanging in there man.

Been there. Ended up spending 7 days in various hotels around Knoxville in 2019 when the transmission in the Cascadia I was driving gave up the ghost. And I was on a good run too(Massachusetts to Laredo,Texas). Took 5 days for the replacement transmission to arrive and another 2 for the Freightliner dealer to program it. After the 2nd day I wanted to get rolling!! But I got about $800 dollars worth of breakdown pay out of the deal!
Cabin fever is a *****!lol
