    #### bro, time to get haulin freight!

Let me know if you need to borrow a truck in the mean time. Hopefully the new truck doesn’t break down to where you need the old truck.

Hauling now... well, picked one up, delivers monday

Seems to pull fine, but the 9 speed is exactly as fun in the upper gears as i assumed.

29,250 truck and trailer fully equipped atm

Half of the needles on the 99 snapped off like that, I have a toothpick for my tach gauge Lol.

It was a local Texas truck it's whole life until we brought it up here. Probably baking in the sun all of those years made em brittle

Pretty sure i just lost any aerodynamic gain from being shorter and not as tall...
    20230417_170138.jpg

In other news, does not pull a hill worth a darn, need to get a boost gauge going and have cat ACTUALLY read the settings for me

Now time to see what a 25.5" bunk is like to sleep in. They SAID 30, but im guessing thats outside dimensions. 25.5 is rear wall to the front of the bunk support

Day 2 of anything.. flat tire, not off the bead, gonna fill, find leak and have somewhere properly patch it i guess.

Mpg suffered as i assumed (hoping thats what it is)
    5.7 mpg

Since its already a dog on the hills, i assume no one thinks itd be wise to go from lp 22.5 to tall rubber 22.5?
I only ask because i could just steal my tall 22.5s from my grey truck, theyre in excellent shape, from new never a single psi lost...

Yes. My truck spent its life in Louisiana and I currently have 3 gauges with broken needles. Going to the junkyard this week to get some replacements.

How did the bunk feel? A 13 or 18 would help that truck out greatly

Im a relatively skinny guy in trucking, so that wasnt bad, with the pass seat out, in some ways it feels bigger than my grey truck with the small hole to get into sleeper

As for how it felt, nothing a better mattress cant fix, they chucked in a cheap wrong sized split mattress with just a medium density foam atbabout 4.5 inches, should have a nice proper size 6 or 7 inch high denisty foam with cooling gel coming in the next week.

As for the sleeping, not made more comfortable by the temperature, i run hot and ac is sub-par. But being tucked behind the drivers seat makes it a nice little cave

    JoeyJunk Thanks this.
