i will also need to buy a trailer...i'm not sure i want to wipe out all 80K on purchasing equipment and leave myself short on operating cash... i would consider a glider after i establish myself and even consider using the truck i buy as a doner for the glider
@double yellow explains in great detail about start up Capitol. I'm not sure if you're leasing on or going independent but if you are in deed getting your own authority then keep as much Capitol as possible to avoid factoring.
i like that idea...even the truck that blairandgretchen bought i think was just what i am looking for...put 10k into it buy a trailer and still have 40k left to get me up and rolling...and have the cash to survive any bumps in the road

21 years ago i bought my first truck for $1000 a 4070 international what a #### box....you name it broke...i was so broke i was eating bologna without cheese..i can remember having $28 for fuel to get to the house...but i survived 6 months and had a down payment for a cab-over kenworth .4 years later i bought a large car freightliner.. still living week to week one major breakdown and i was toast...i don't want to repeat that..i had to sell my truck wen my daughter was born i needed medical benefits.... here i am 21 years later small retirement some cash in the bank now its my turn to finish the last chapter my way...i probably don't need 40K but i know what ever happens i can handle it......
I have a 06 9900i with a isx . I have had nothing but problems with the isx. I would look for a detroit 60 series or a 9400 with a n14.
