    That supplies the power to the relay, the thermostatic switch in the evaporator box supplies the ground to energize that relay. You can shoot power to the switched terminal where the relay is to see if all the A/C pressure switches are working. If the clutch kicks on when you throw power to that terminal you know everything under the hood is good.
