Will be switching over on the 16th, to the 97th. Was told by another driver last week he's getting good miles. Also i live in Sac, was wondering if there are many loads going in and out of the Sac yard. Thanks

Most of the freight comes from Tracy, Stockton, or Modesto. Sac yard gets used to relay loads a little for loads from socal.

    sal Thanks this.

Hogdog... 97 Fleet runs I-5 + 97, I never went south of Fresno for the most part, Bay area some times. Alot of Gen Mill out of Stockton to Spokane/Hermiston + pick up in Lewiston and come back down or go to Vegas with a load. Not a bad gig. Was alot of chaining going on, not sure about latley. I ended up with Pneumonia and lung problems at the end of Dec so i'm out for awhile. Good luck with it

Miles are ok, You live in Redding so you could be home about once every three or so days. (for the night) Could be good for you . Try it you can always change fleets

    Hi Sal,

Can you tell me where the Sac yard is exactly and is it a place where I could park my personal car for an extended period of time (3 or 4 weeks)?

I've been fortunate enough to have my application accepted to work for GTI. Rick told me that the Sac yard is my closest yard and to expect to go to orientation in Washington in about 2 weeks, then out with a trainer for a month.

I'm very excited and I'm just trying to get an idea how/where to park my car. I live in Lake County and he said I'd have to leave the truck in Sac and drive here for my home time.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

    Butch

Hey Butch.... Sac yards at 4400 Florin Perkins Rd . The yard is a fenced, gated, 24 hour
guard (at gate) so your car is safe . Far as I know you can keep your car there as long as you want. Gordon's a good company. Good Luck
