$975 Detention | Unreasonable?

    Detention and layover pay should be ridiculously high, some around $200 per hour or $1500 per day.
    Don't like it? Do your job better to avoid penalty. We don't cry about $250 penalty for not calling, even we need to sleep at this time.
    Let's have fair play.

    Chemical world they charge 500 for the night and 75*8hours - 2 hours . It depends on the appointment time for the first day noon to five pm is 5 hours - 2 hours . So 3 hours plus the 500.

    It’s $150 per hr for me after 2 hrs. All this is said up front. Don’t like it , get somebody else to haul it. Some places will let you sit for eternity if you aren’t charging them a hefty bill. I never have had to sit overnight though, I might give them a small discount on that.
