Tickets are booked for Saturday, orientation on the 14th. If he passes, will be best Valentine's Day present ever. Must think positive, we could really use a good break. It's been a rough year.

Husband is on the bus. I was stoic until the bus pulled away.

He should arrive in Springfield 5am-ish Monday morning. 'Tis a very long bus ride.

I'll be there with a few others that are on this thread. Keep positive thoughts. We'll keep an eye out for him.

He got into SpringMo this morning, has been filling out paperwork. No complaining about his roommate, who he met on the bus from Springfield. Said the buses were great, though apparently the old crappy Greyhound bus in the fleet was dragged out for longest part of the trip (other than that, the coaches were new and updated with legroom, movies, wifi, electrical outlets, etc.)

He was told he could go do some of the simulation tests today by the front desk, but the simulation guy shooed him away, said the front desk was wrong.

I was told the same thing by the front desk and Wally did the same to me earlier. We were supposed to report at 4:00pm.

What's his name? We'll look for him.

As (somewhat?) expected, the doctor is worried about his nervous tic. I figured if there was any obstacle to going forward, it would be that, because it "looks weird" and will show up in stressful/new social situations, like, say, an important physical at orientation.

I have to dig up our last doctor's office info to pass on. We don't' have a "local" doctor as we are among the masses of the uninsured due to current job situations. So I hope our former doctor's office will do. I know our previous doctor has left the clinic.

Maybe Prime needs to know he hasn't been diagnosed with a serious disorder or something.

Anyway, haven't passed muster yet. Was so hoping for better news.

There is a clinic down the road that can do a fit for duty exam for $60. Not sure if that will help, but they told me about it at 4:30pm on a friday about my ankle. Went home (live close) and got my doc to sign the papers. The clinic is not too far away, but not within waking distance. Concentra medical Center

Thanks, Eagle. I'll relay that info should he need it. For now, they wanted to get his records from the Dr's office so I passed along the pertinent info so they can request them.
