Might wanna wait until the Hawaiian updates his progress. He's been incognito for quite some time here on his A&A thread ;-)

Hopefully A&A wasn't pressured by Roadrunner to cheat the drivers by going to mileage pay,

I am going to be calling tomorrow and get some final questions answered. Especially one is if Roadrunner is going to be making them do away with percentage and go mileage pay. That is a large factor for me in my decision right now. So far right now I have only seen one road runner company that was on percentage go to mileage pay, Bruenger

Talked to them today and they, as of now and nothing has been said, changing their pay structure. What did change, they are no longer doing in house leasing. All of it is going through Quality. This makes me re-think my plans. I would have to drive to Quality to pick out my truck and then drive back home and get a bus back to Indy when the truck is finished and ready to go. The bob tail on my dime to SD. They said that they might fill up the tanks so that can get most of the way there. They are supposed to be getting in new trucks come the end of March. I have been reading the Quality thread.

Wow, not the news I wanted to hear.
Quality is a Celadon company, and from their threads it seems that their whole process of getting a truck is a big cluster f#@k.

    That is not good news.
Quality is a joke and the payments would be outrageous and for a longer period of time.
Also there will be a bigger balloon payment.
What a waste, Mercer went the Quality route and that didn't work out so well and they are no longer taking trucks from Quality.
Don't blame them oh well I already have a truck just thought I could get a better rate but not messing with it.

I am going to wait until I talk to Quality a little later if they call me. Also waiting to hear from a friend that went the Quality route and leased on with Eagle and left them, and now doing well somewhere else but he got to keep the truck. I am looking for a new truck, not a used one and that is where I think that the cluster happens, used trucks. Not like this is my first rodeo, and I live close enough to Quality that going home is not a problem

I think now it's just $1 buyout at the end of lease, BUT 84 months worth of payments.

Yes 84 months compared to 157 weeks and a 53k$ buyout.
Also a different payment amount so with Quality you will most likely pay 247k$ for a 140k truck they are a ripoff.
If A&A isn't setting up the lease then I would look other places like Lone Mountain.
I actually got mine with 3k$ down and it's fully loaded with APU 6k watt inverter TV refrigerator air slide air release Sirius radio work station and the I shift in the dash.
570/wk 60 months 40k buyout low interest for fair credit.

No, I agree the Quality deal is not great, but it is for those with poor credit, and those who want the "walk away" terms.
For me, I have ok credit, high 600's, and the $8k for a down pymt for Lone Mountain, however unlike most I am not looking to own the truck nor do I really want it for 5 years.
I am only in this game for 3 more years max.... I know most would say stay a company driver, but the $10-$15k extra per year is hard to pass up.
I look at the truck as just a tool for revenue generation, but on the same note I want a new truck, I enjoy all the creature comforts that come a new truck along with the warranty piece of mind. I run long and hard, out 48 weeks a year. I live like no other, so I can live like no other. (Stolen from Dave Ramsey)
With A&A Express using Quality I'm now considering going over to Schneider and trying there Choice program, if it's not possible to make the revenue I desire then I can take that truck elsewhere. With Quality your stuck to those couple dozen companies and with Mercer off the list there doesn't seem to be much potential with the exception of Jones.
Thanks for reading, sorry for the thread hijack.... would love to hear your guys input, thoughts, or criticisms.

Wish the Idaho Hawaiian would return and give us an update!!!!! :) @HAWAIIANTHRIVER
