  3. Life gets busy. I took 2 and a half weeks off for Christmas and new years. Went to a cabin up in the mountains with my family. Flew home to Hawai'i for a 34 hour restart. Lol. I literally flew home for one day for my cousins funeral. I will say this like I have said before. With the right mindset and discipline, you can do very well for yourself at A&A. It takes work, but the reward is very much worth it. Hell, I feel as if I can be successful with whatever company I decide to run for. But additude is a lot. Performance is huge.

Just wait and see. There is no hate only reality. My issues with Tim and A @ A started when I left and Tim stole all my maintenance funds and did not give me credit for all my safety equipment that I purchased. Lets face facts. Calculate how many times a lease Volvo is returned out of pocket to drivers. It makes no sense at all, unless your last name is "Anderson" Mr. Hawaiian

Also, how many miles are you going to deadhead before it gets into your pocket? Add it up and good luck if you think your going to own that truck if it a lease from A@A

  6. All of that is fine. I know my numbers. I need $1.13 a mile on 2500 miles a week if my truck gets 6 mpg and I get fuel at $2 a gallon. All of my loads pay significantly higher than that. That being said, I'm no victim. Where others see problems, I find solutions. I understand that more often than not, people fail in lease purchase options. I'm not most people. I've already paid off a semi with JCT, but I didn't do it right and didn't have as much saved up as I would have liked to so I sold it. I don't lose. I either win or I learn. And to say that there is no hate only reality, your name begs to differ, and your reality is your reality. Not anyone else's. Yours.

  7. @Tim Anderson hater , you may have failed, it doesn't mean that others will. Read your contract again. They are entitled to you maintenance funds upon termination of lease. Understand your situation.

Look guys, anyone who operates under another carrier is subject to authority. I get it! I am not a hater, in fact I only used that to get valid attention, and to help gain observation to others. 1) so how much did it cost you to take two weeks off? And if you saved the money for a vacation, then you still have to pay for equipment. 2) How long is it going to take you to make up time off? This is a business orientated conversation, if you don't have the intellect to handle open conversations about facts then I seriously doubt you fully understand the situation that your in with A@A. Merely a statement of awareness. However, I leave you and your constitutes to believe other wise. And the troll is the lead guy in the shop at A@A. Don't let them pull the new Volvo over your eyes so you cant see what's really going on. I loved my truck too.....

  9. Its called planning and money management. I don't come home unless I have the funds to cover while I'm home, so there isn't a "catch up" period. And if you weren't able to succeed at A&A, then what makes you think that I would want your advice as to what to do or what not to do. I have a good team behind me at home, a very good friend over at landstar who has opened my eyes to budget management. I don't need your input. You can have your "serious doubts" about me. Those are your doubts. They have nothing to do with me and you know nothing about me. I leave you with your assumptions. You can blame this or that or someone in the shop for your situations, but what I haven't heard is how you failed. Not that it matters, because it doesn't, but it seems as though you need to take ownership overy your own situation.

  10. Okay guys, I'm going to log off and go get lunch with my 8 year old at her school. Be safe, I come off home time on February 8th. I'll try and find the time to interject here and there while I'm home, but I won't make any promises. Aloha
