No maintenance, truck payment is weekly. You have thirty days to get your truck fixed before your on your own. Not 30 day of free payments. Most companies you lease on with you'll get two weeks before truck payments

Been some time since I have said anything here. Looks like making a jump very soon. But instead of L/O, will be going in as company driver. Had a long talk yesterday with Dan and we both agreed that for now this will be best. Wait for a nice in house truck to open up and it will give me time to learn the system their. They know that I will not go with Quality and why and agree with me. I just to not care for the way that Quality is set up

Refreshing post. You guys think like I do. Started & sold 2 sucessful businesses.I know the PB&J weeks making payroll, collecting from slow-pays, and all it takes is paying attention & hard work.
I've been thinking about a lease...as I really don't have to draw a bg check every week. That can only be comforting. -

Being in a lease for me is not my first rodeo. I have been in one with Swift right now going on 6 years. Just tired of the mega and no miles and company trucks now getting a priority. It is just that I do not want to go through Quality. They are fine for someone that might be very new to all of this, but after being around for some time, they just are not a fit for me, considering that they do most of all of the leasing as far as the Roadrunner companies. I always prefer in house, since it is also their nose on the line,

1.37 mile average 4500 net you must be running 5,000 miles a week lol
-
12,000 a month is my average
-
I ran 8 weeks first time out.. 24817 miles. My average to the truck is higher now, but I haven't stopped long enough to catch up my books. I know my bank deposits show right at 15k alone for the month of may.
I stayed home 18 days and left again.. About another week and I'll head home again.
My mpg is staying right at 6.9 mpg, my fuel costs per odometer mile is 30 cents per mile on almost 37,000 miles.
I have paper logs, and I don't play around. Money can be made if you want to.
I'm considering buy two more trucks, and hiring drivers soon.truckerim2055 Thanks this. -
Well if that 1.37 includes dead head. You're not doing bad at all
