I don't know about the new drivers but the ones before are supposed to be grandfathered in on our old contracts. We will see when the lease is up in Brandon and they move us to Omaha.

Not what I should've but I'll get the balance. Things are going to be screwed up for a few weeks. Introducing a whole new system for everyone to learn. Kind of like when companies first switch to E-Logs this are messed up until they figure it out in the office

Well, I am basically forced to go work for a company as a company drive again. Even with 10% down towards a truck. Most banks are turning me away and basically saying I need current employment even though I am basically pre-hired with RRTC. I have a 779 credit score, a car loan out at 19k, but the car it self is worth 29k. I thought it was hard establishing credit before and getting a car loan. A truck turns out to be a hole different scenario. Quite sad really.

So, do you folks know what RRTC trucks are governed at? I'll be ###### if I am governed at 62-65mph. I hope their trucks are ungoverned or at least run 72mph like my previous company. Any thoughts or insights would be greatly appreciated before I pursue being a company driver doing OTR as I can pretty much go anywhere.

Commercial loans are very high risk. Debt to incone ratios being the main dererminate factor. Bank are reticent to make those kind of loans.

Yea, its a real shame though for someone in my situation. I have a cell phone bill, Insurance, car payment. About 800 bucks a month. I still live with my folks so that saves a ton of money. No point in having my own place during weekends off an stuff like that. Assuming if I stay here in Carolina and don't move in with the GF, because I have no idea whats going on there she gets cheap rent because her grand folks own the split house she lives in. So my P&L even as a company driver is extremely low other than food expenses and small things.

Just need some insight as to what the company drivers run in terms of speed/pay/trucks now.
