Think it's time for me to go. Ron has something against me. Whenever I run his area I get screwed. There was a time I refused to go to his area but Cody and Tim said something to him but now it's back again. We'll see cause I had a talk with Tim today but I feel Ron does not like me for whatever reason. My actual numbers back this up.

Don't feel bad. I was pre-approved to go work for them, but then weeks later applying for a truck they told me to apply next year... Yeah, right..

I left there last month. Went back to a company driver home every wknd.
About the only problem i ran into was del in slc few months back. Had a steer tire that wore into the belts and i sent orv a email saying i need to get it replaced once i was mt. Once mt he told me to get it fixed in id falls and had a great paying load that needed fixed. I said no i had to get the tire replaced. Then he said to be there in the morning. I drove from provo did 3 pick ups around id falls then find out i had to be in kc midnite next night. I told him i will be there 8am fri. He said i may have to wait til mon. I arrived at 8am for my 1st stop. He then gripes at me for being 8hrs late and i had to fudge my log book to even get it there at that time. I had just enough hrs to make it to wi for last stop sat. When i found out i was getting unloaded in kc and not have to wait til mon i sent kurt a email saying i will be out of hrs once mt in wi and need a 34. He then calls me yelling that it was unprofessional that i didnt tell him b4 even though i had just found out that i wasnt going to wait til mon in ks. He then tells me he had a preplan on me. I said nobody mentioned a preplan then he pops back that he shouldnt have to tell me about a preplan. I think a driver needs to know if he has a preplan so he can plan for it or tell the company that he cant do it.

This company went into the crapper with this merge. I've been here almost two years now and this thing with Ron isn't new just the first time I've went at it with Ron. I've talked to Tim about this before. Now my load doesn't pick up till tomorrow. Tim won't answer the phone I absolutely refuse to talk to Ron. I think I need to leave.

Bud, it sounds like some stuff with my last company I had to deal with regarding the North East and then it interfering with my weekend home time not getting back until Saturday and falling short with ELDS. Or, when a problem arises and you go to call looking for BOL's etc or what ever and no one answers. Gotta love it! When you mentioned earlier about getting screwed, I was not only doing them favors some times, but then be getting screwed in the NE on a Friday with a live unload, drop'n hook later in NJ comming out of CT all while having 11hours to make it to NC for the weekend off. If it happens repeatedly after talking to them about it, I would leave. My two cents, other wise try to give them the benefit of the doubt.

That sucks man. I know the pain all to well. Luckily, with the company I am trying to go with now, they call you twice a day to check in. Hopefully, when i call they answer if something should arise. Communication is key, how ever too much communication can suck too if you know what I mean. An example would be a broker calling you every 15minutes trying to find out where you are or what you are doing. heh! Funny when you are forced to deal with brokers, but do not even own the truck. It's a toxic situation sometimes.

So, you gotta turn the truck in? I guess you were in their L/P program? Or just a company driver? Hopefully, its a walk away L/P if that is the case. I can tell you right now, assuming you have good credit in the 750 range with no loans out you would probably be approved anywhere from 60-80k on a loan for a truck with 10k down as a first time buyer.

Anyway, I am not really associated with this thread anymore as they told me to apply next year, which will never happen. That is a RED flag right there after having been previously approved just weeks ago on the phone and them wanting me in orientation. I found someone that pays 75-80% of the load or 1.55pm or 1.65pm with 100% fuel charge. Will help me getting the truck I want as well. Best of luck man. I'll see ya around the forum.
