Hey you guys enjoying reading the comments. I recently got approved for a 2016 Volvo VNL 670 with road runner. My recruiter has been kind of sketchy & rarely returns phone calls. He automatically tried to have me join under the R & M company. Which i did not like because they wanted to pay $1.00 per mile. But the website clearly states they pay 75% revenue. All in all RRTS had an ad up for 88% revenue & that's why i decided to call the recruiter in the first place! Is A & A paying percentage?

 

74% of the line haul, 100% fsg, and any extra they get is passed directly to you.
IE, stops, layover, ect.

 

What are your settlements ranging weekly *net income*? In are you constantly moving & home time?

When I stay out 6-8 weeks at a time, I was getting 25-3500 a week.... But lately I been home once a month and they have been hitting me for every deduction at once for the whole month. First time they did it, I went three weeks before I seen a positive, this time I held back two trips and broke even on first one.
I strongly suggest you call and see if you live in a running Lane for them, or you will have a bunch of dead head trying to get home.
They are great if you want to stay out and are in a Lane... Other wise you will get frustrated.
I had planned on moving close to the yard, and life changed my decision. After fighting to get home, and not go broke... I turned in my truck Friday and went home.

 

Ok thanks, i was thinking about going with the road runner terminal to terminal. Since they have a Terminal in NC. Are they going to make you pay a fee for turning the truck in before the lease?

 

My lease says it's a walk away... I'm sure there is a cleaning fee... But shouldn't be anything else. Already contacted an attorney just in case.

 

I would also not believe anything road runner says... They lied to me about everything when I started. I would call the company you are interested in directly.

 

Do they hire new CDL students out of Omaha, NE?

I will take your word on that! I did my drug test & my new medical card they paid for all of that the first 3 days i was in contact with my recruiter. Ever since i have requested that i was not driving for $1.00 per mile with a truck payment of $775 a week which equal out to $3,100 a month + my living expenses. My recruiter has been missing in action. Everytime I cal;l road runner i can only be directed to my recruiter who never answers his Direct line.
