I have a 2004 Century condo sleeper. A/C compressor clutch is always energized, even with the key off. Any clue where to look first?

    thanks,
    John

As stated possible relay. If you can locate it and pull it out see if it shuts it off

If it is not the relay, I would pull the connection (12v power supply) if it stays engaged, You have a bad clutch.

Sounds like a short to battery power.

I use to drive a Columbian Century Class and the Compressor would fail by looking at it. Cheap part, easy to replace in no time at all. I saw guys quit because the "fleet mangler" wouldn't route them to get a A/C fix during the summer. You ever wonder how the old timers back in the 40's would drive to California with No A/C...... 2 windows vents and 65 mph, that's how! And they say, those were the good ole days! LMAO.

Not my truck. My brothers. Mine, an 06 is fine. I’m just hoping someone here had run into this problem. Compressor is solid, charge is correct. I’ve swapped the relay out and the problem persists. I wish I could get hold of schematics for these trucks. Thanks to all for your suggestions all are valid but I’ve checked them.
