I am going to say if you changed the thermostat and the evap is clean then it's time for an expansion valve. Make sure to change dryer while your at it.

That's what I going to do.change both expansion valves, the one near the firewall and then the one at the far corner of the bunk along with the dryer. Thank you for your input.

With what I told you to check can cause an occasional freeze aswell as what they said about the drains depends on moister in the air

How do you get it that cold??? I have an 07 379 Pete with a small high efficiency condensor and it can't even keep me comfortable. Replaced everything but the expansion valve in the bunk. 95degs outside temp and my engine fun run's continuous.

The tech at Dallas Peterbilt put in 0.1lbs over what the tag on my truck calls for. Think the system requires 3.35lbs and he put in 3.45lbs. Would that cause the problem? He was using a computer controlled machine to do it.

I won't be having any problems with my Freightliner at the beginning of this thread. The truck and trailer was stolen sometime between 6/24 to 6/26/. Its a 2007 Freightliner Century and a 2001 Ravens 48 ft. all alluminum spread axle.
