A/C no bueno

    I get a new compressor every year.

    Freon contracts in the winter to the point of not enough pressure to safely run the compressor. Trucks hold enough freon so that generally isn't issue. Unlike cars. But imagine if the expansion valve goes bad. And your compressor is running at -5 - 10 psi because the low pressure switch isn't shutting down like it's supposed to.

    Yes folks. That's a negative 5 psi. In January. In July it's 35 psi.

    Something to look at when you're running defrost in the winter time. And your compressor is running.
