Well the company sold the truck, I'm in a 2014 KW t660. So all is well until today when my engine loses power on hills and hard acceleration. Into the KW dealership tomorrow to see what's wrong
-
after treatment system derates the engine, I guess.
-
Nope, nothing to do with the emissions. Fuel pump died :/
-
Oh, man. That sucks. Since truck is new they should replace it by warranty. I changed mine on ISX at 450K miles, both of them. (sick!) Now it has 1200K miles, everything works fine. (knock-knock-knock)DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

I hear ya, I'm guessing it has two pumps? A high and low pressure? Because they said my high pressure pump needed to be replaced which is why on hills or under acceleration it would lose power
-
Is it a MX....?
PS, Sorry about your hood !DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
No it's a Cummins, ISX15
And thanks, I miss it haha. I've been looking at this w9 they got at this dealer. -
Tell us the truth, is the KW sleeper more spacious and better laid out.....? -
Yeah, two pumps. I was trying to change diaphragm only, but it failed in a month. So I bought whole pump, and then second pump (low and high pressure, yeah). Back then it was $450+700+labor.DrtyDiesel Thanks this.
