-
Its a 2000 Pete 379 63" sleeper. I replaced the evaporator last summer, because one of the lines crackedRideandrepair Thanks this.
-
Awww, yeah one thing i liked about the petes at tmc (1 million+ miler 2006) ac was awesome, been in a kw since 2013, ac has only ever really been adequate at best
I thought was a kw cause my right cluster is almost identical to yoursRideandrepair Thanks this. -
Ok, I am fortunate my engine is a 97 catRideandrepair Thanks this.
-
Thats interesting, mines a 99 (3406e), the other one is a 2000 c15
Both kw, gotta be something to do with the way they put the components on the engine and mounting coupled with the internal ducting or insulation i guessRideandrepair Thanks this. -
I don’t know, my friends Pete’s always work so good, heat and air. While I’m running mine on high, his is on low. Heat doesn’t even need the Cab fan on at all, running down the road. Much better than Freightliners design.

I did not change the dryer or expansion valve because I changed them when I lost the compressor last fall. And the system wasent fully discharged because of the leaking Schrader valve when i changed it it was only open for 10 seconds.... I didn't think it was a problem.. I might be wrong

17.5 wow thats cold i didn't think they were capable of that
