A curious IT professional

    Hector, I can appreciate you being interested in driving, but you really can't sum up the whole trucking experience in just a few months. I've been in and out of it since 1998, and I still experience something new and cool everytime I turn around (sometimes literally!) You really want to be a trucker, plan on staying in the field for a year or two minimum to really get being a trucker.

    Saw this in a old Road King magazine (anyone remember those?)
    "Truck driving can be described as long continuous hours of boredom, broken by moments of sheer terror"

    But hey, if you can and want to, go for it!
