    Unless you have had some serious involvement with CDL driving in the past, you should be a company driver first. You're going to sink a lot of money into a truck, trailer, authority, etc. You haven't told us much, but we're assuming you're a fresh driver, maybe with a few months from your profile. If that's true, you're a fool to jump into being an O/O this soon. You even know how to shift yet? Are you trained? Do you understand DOT law, regular truck maintenance, how frickin often a truck breaks down and how much a cost to the shop costs? You're paying for a lot more than just fuel and a truck payment out here...
