    What truck? engine?
If it's asking for regen more often, doesn't always mean plugged DPF filter, could be DOC, bad Turbo vgt or leaking oil in exhaust if you got a motor with vgt, lose flex pipe, bad sensors, NOx, temp, differential pressure sensor bad , sends wrong reading to ecm. With my Volvo D13 i have problems as outdoor temp drops, won't reach regen temp.

good point, does diagnostic link tell you exactly which sensor(s) is/are requesting the regen?

DD15 ACM desides when regen is needed. it counts how much fuel was burned plus some adjusting factors like outside temperature, average exhaust gas temperature value, .. No sensor is requesting regen.

    bzinger Thanks this.
