Apparently you never repretripped a load leaving the last shipper. A good national carrier would have taught you this.

I was held up at a shipper, and would have missed my delivery by 2 hours. After informing my company that I didn’t have the hours to make delivery, they had to reschedule me 3 days later.the trailer that was scheduled to be loaded, wasn’t .

They are demanding free work out of you, are you getting paid for sitting away from home and family babysitting the junk? That is kind of like slavery and we are sitting around saying it is normal. Them demands are a little out of hand so we should turn around and start doing the same to them. If you do not with these obscene rules that have nothing to do with safety are going to get worse.

    Lepton1 and bigbyrc Thank this.

You live in a fantasy world. Tow your truck away? Driving 2000 miles back to the shipper? On whose dime?

Then pull up to one of them homeless camps popping up all over the country, they would love some of that junk and they will have open arms for welcoming you in the camp, keep getting walked on they are going to start jumping on you harder. They have you right where they want, work for free, do not complain, warehouse the product until they feel like taking it. both ways we are screwed, we need ways of getting back our lives instead of being slaves to the few.

Someone asked what an 'egregious' violation was. I suppose I should have added 'driving' to the answer. But then again, that's already been established, earlier in this thread.
