A few new CATS.....

The ct630(Prostar) and the CT610(8600/Transtar) are made by Navistar branded and sold by CAT and only sold in Australia and South Africa and other outside markets thru NC2 www.nc2.com venture that Navistar and CAT have going on to increase Navistar and CAT sales and service.

The CAT truck is just international with some CAT emblems and stickers, a option with the CAT trans, and CAT markup It kinda looks like a cross between the international paystar and a volvo VHD. I kinda do like the look of it.

 

Looks cool, but like pick up truck on steroids

 

I read where Interpillar, ah, NaviCat, ah, Caternational, er, Icat, ah NavCat, ah whatever, they's a-gonna build a COE.

 

The maxforce rebadged to go in
That truck was a rebadged cat c13
That int reenginered the egr system.
The egr +def cats had more mile towed
Than driven (well almost) .

 

I don't like everyone having their own parts. Will be hard to find service and parts. With all trucks running CAT, Cummins, Detroit, with Eaton or Rockwell(meritor) driveline you could get parts and service almost anywhere. Had R model Mack with all Mack components,good truck (except camelback suspension), but you needed a tube of grease for when they bent you over at the parts counter!!!!!!

 

I need to say cat before it was forced to meet epa requirments
Was a great product! Was sad to see such a great company
Brought down by the epa!

 

You'd think as big as CAT is....They could tell the EPA and Mary Nichols from CARB to "GO Pound Sand!!!!"

 

How?......CAT is out of the engine market for trucks in NA.....

If they really were to tell them to "GO Pound Sand!!!!"

There would be 2012 Petes and KW's with new yellow engines in them......

 

Btw....A diesel can run clean without an EGR...DPF..or an SCR on it.....

Real easy too...It's called servicing.....

All that sheyat is just more of this.....
