I'm getting blasted by recruiters pushing big numbers in sand right now. curious what seasoned oil field guys would tell me about sand can work going into this summer

ND has more sand haulers running around than I've seen in years. Sand cans and sand boxes on every corner. Seems like a lot of the fracking is in McKenzie country (Watford City area) but Mountrail (Stanley/New Town) and Williams (Williston/Ray/Tioga) are also pretty busy. All the sand haulers are looking for drivers and some looking for leasers.

Frost lawns should be off soon and then it's really going to go nuts. Buckle up.

I also see lots of sand cans in the New Town to Stanley area, up and down Highway 8, and staging at the Cenex in New Town.

I don't think they pay demurrage though. Lots of free sitting.
