I have to admit....all my moose is given to me by good friends. I just have shot grouse. Hunting moose is a heck of a lot of work! -

LOL, I reckon you can say I'm enthralled with big equipment and trucks. I've been around 'em all my life, but didn't operate them too much.
Well, I've been poking around at some of the photos here from other memebers are AWESOME. WOW! Lots of great looking trucks and scenery you all have come across!
I'll do my best to post some interesting stuff for folks. I got some photos of the Haul Road from last summer (I just drove a regular POV) and will post them.
Haul Road truckers sure are a neat breed. Met a couple of them....nerves of steel!

Heya RookieT!
Thanks for the Welcome, Bud!
Whoa!!! Real impressive to get 92% of the states under your belt. Most folks are lucky to get 3!
Well, feel free to look me up when you do get onto the Alaskan roads. Alaska sure is a neat state....and a big one!rookietrucker Thanks this. -
Howdy Snowbunny!
Is your husband a long haul trucker or do you get to see him most nights?
Actually, I used to live in Bellingham, WA--just over the border--and visited BC tons of times (Squamish mostly). I <3 Canada, and my fave city is Whitehorse (got to stay there when I drove the Alcan to Alaska--just a car). I thought it was so pretty there in Whitehorse...Yukon River was neat to see.
Ya know, I've come to believe that being adventurous is a state of mind and not so much a place to go. Ya think?
Thanks for the Welcome Canadian Girl!
