Not sure. I haven't been there in a couple years, I've just seen pictures of the sign so it might only be in NC

Mine is pretty good about taking me where I should be, but I check the whole route before I leave and can adjust it to take me the way I want to go. Its really just a live updating route reminder with eta at this point.

Thats all I use mine for really, I know too many drivers that say things like "I never know where I'm going, I just punch it in my GPS and go where it says"

When I worked for Pepsi. Our customers from a town near Silver City had to come down and meet our trucks at a gas station just off I25 to get their product because there was no way for a tractor trailer to turn around in that town to head back. It was a narrow winding road with no shoulders or turn outs.

i had route 50 in wv beat hands down in my first couple months driving. there were several toll roads that my company wouldnt pay for, and i had it in my head that i had to find an alternate route to get to my destination. where i BELIEVE i ended up was us35 in wv. not sure but thats where i think i had the worst night of my entire driving career, finding two mountains, VERY steep grade, and very windy, with one lane for each direction. god truly protected the fool that night. got up the first mountain...15 mph or less most of the way. going down didnt leave i think 4th or 5th gear cause i was so scared of losing the brakes if i let it go any faster. pulled off to the side at the bottom...FINALLY a nice wide break down lane, and a convenience store across the street. when i shared my relief at having got past the horrid, god-forsaken mountain, the clerk first thanked me for not hitting the store (said it happened more often than i would believe)..then shared the bad news that i was merely HALF WAY done. took like 8 hours to drive maybe 20 miles. as rookie mistakes go, i picked a beaut.

We had a driver take a dirt path into a cornfield and get stuck in the mud because his GPS told him to turn there. It was supposed to be a court after the road name but he put in road or avenue, or something of that sort. Just baffles me.
