A headache rack installation with espar

The circled is a tire rack. I'll take it off.

Can you post a picture of yours? My battery box is shifted to the right, indeed. The way it's mounted from the factory and how sturdy it is, I was doubtful it can be moved. Also, since there is just enough space on one side, I didn't think that shifting would help. But I'll definitely try now.
