How come no DEF? I thought all newer trucks had it? Thats cool though one less thing that can go wrong lol

How do they get away with that? DPF?

 

Maxxforce never had DEF. In 2014 they added DEF and renamed that engine. Don't remember tje new right now, they also reduced the exhaust put back in the engine.

 

High % egr.....with dpf.

Not sure what year the op's truck is.

I say you want to shoot for short loads at $2 plus. But what do I know .

 

I think he said 2013. I had a maxxforce at my last job, horrible always in the shop. International dealer just throw parts at them. Dpf issues, and lots if egr issues.
