 my truck started dripping coolant rite after my first load today. I saw just as many cars broken down as trucks today

The air dryer froze up on our other truck in Wisconsin today. Broke the purge valve. Driver had to crawl underneath and bypass it; he's headed for the T/A now to see what needs to be done.

Rates out of Denver are always low Windsmith. I was wondering when you'd be posting about it - good luck in findin' somethin' up to your standards!

Had a guy pull up to the shop with that same problem.

all the shops were packed today, but I know of a shop that is family ran and is priced really well. Got rite in and fixed me up, not much of a wait.

Hah, I knew I'd have a challenge coming in.

Settled in, got my 34. The boss got me to cave on a rate. Just got a rate confirmation from western KS to NJ - $1.84 / loaded mile, $1.62 all miles. $3100 to the truck on 1919 GPS route miles. Could have sworn he told me it paid more than that on the phone. :/ But it's in line with average rates out of here, and the deadhead up front means I'm not running loaded (read: burning more fuel) the entire trip.

Anyhow, gets me back in time to grab another decent paying mail load to Chicago or Detroit on Saturday.

Saw some decent SLC -> OR and WA rates today, but nothing worth running empty to grab.

Must have the luck, just changing over to boxes myself so it will take a bit of time to find a honey hole. So far my first three pay great.
